Just heard.. Tony Bua cut

This was expected, at least by me. He was never a good football player, especially as a tweener. He was a hard hitter though.
 
Too slow to play FS not big enough to play LB in this scheme. Maybe Bates will bring him to Green Bay w/ Corey Jenkins.

Damn.. Is there even anyone left from the Wannspiel era?
 
people kept saying that he would be the next ZT, Too bad Bua didn't have the build to be an LB and didn't have the speed to be a FS.

Lee deserved to be cut aswell. He got so many chances last year and in the preseason and when he wasn't getting called for holding, he was either dropping a pass or fumbling.
 
I was pulling for him too but it was not a surprising move.

Rick's one draft was actually quite productive. Carey and Hadnot are starting. Poole will hopefully come back strong, and Pope seems to have caught on as a backup. That isn't too bad given the number of picks there were. Unless I'm missing somebody, that means Bua and Pape are the only ones gone.
 
Wow, i honestly am i suprised. I thought he had a future ahead of him on special teams at least. Like an Ike Reese or something
