After learning that we are set to start the season against the Steelers, I for one hope Culpepper is up and ready to go... I can already hear how all the 'experts' will pick Pitt to dominate us, but with Pepper at the helm, I think it sets the stage for a huge surprise for Steelers... imagine beating the defending world champs in game 1 of the year! getting LaVar would really help the cause, but I think Saban will be more than ready for this one even with the current roster in place...

I remember last year's opener when everyone had the Denver Donkeys beating us but we kicked Denver's butt. The Steelers will be caught up in getting their rings...we can knock them off......also it nice playing in Pittsburgh in September rather than playing them in the cold later on. Can't wait.

i don't think any expert will be picking anyone to dominate us next year.

Im sure after one loss S. Salisbury (or however you spell his name) will jump ship from us...:shakeno:

Let's hope Pitts plays like they did in the SB or worse. They look quite beatable that day IMO.

I have to agree too. As excited as I am, I'm being very cautious till I actually see us playing. That being said, I think the "experts" will also need the Fins to prove themselves first.

I feel really good about this upcoming year. I feel Nick knows what he is doing and like someone else said, getting Lavar wont hurt us. I think that Pittsburgs only going to decrease due to the loss of Randall El and have they signed anyone big yet? I think we stand a good shot at beating them this year.:dolphins:

Win or lose I'm sure it will be a good game. We've always been a strong opening day team.

What about when we lose to the texans?

Well, it was still a close game. 2003 an 2004 were different but fir the most part the fins have been solid in the opener.

looked to me like they got beat. i still maintain seattle was robbed - then again, if holmgren would've took better control of the clock in the clutch i wouldn't have to make that argument.
