Just in.. Falcons Have 3rd Pick!

I'd rather get their 1st and 2nd this year, plus a number 1 or 2 next year instead of Deangelo Hall.

Why on earth would Parcells ever bring D. Hall here? You flat-out do not pay attention to pro football and are operating off of a name only if you want any part of that guy. He's a team cancer and vastly overrated.

no D. Hall.. get their 1st and 2nd rounder and let the Falcons take Ryan at #1

Wow... I think this sucks for Miami... If Atlanta was 5th pick, they'd almost have to trade up to be assured to get Ryan... at #3... if we don't take him, he's thiers. I wish they would have ended up with #5, would have made a trade more likely, plus we would have gotten more for our pick.

Not really. Raiders and Chief are set at QB, at least they think they are, and would not take Ryan anyway. So things remain the same either way. If the Falcons think we're taking Ryan, they'll have to trade up.

yeah but those two extra spots would give other teams a chance to trade up in front of Atlanta at #5... I guess that's the way I was looking at it... and to avoid that chance, Atlanta would be more inclined to make a deal with us. Oh well... I guess we'll see what happens! Let the games begin!

Yup Yup! or we could always take Ryan and trade him to ATL just like they did with Eli

Now that makes sense. You take the best player available and know you have the option to trade him to a team like Atlanta, but if not you've got a very good prospect at QB on your team, which contrary to popular opinion on this board, is a good thing.

De Angelo Hall is said to be in a trade to the Giants for their first pick.

No doubt. I want Ryan, but I also wouldnt mind swapping with the falcons since they have pick #3 now, Im sure we can still grab Long and at a cheaper signing price. They would have to throw in more than their 2nd rounder too though. Im thinking swap picks #1 and #3, and they throw in their 2nd and 4th or 5th round selections. Perhaps a 2nd rounder next year if not a 4th or 5th this year.

I just don't understand where ATL see's the value in the guy. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if we see him slip big time.
