2020 cant get here soon enough
Dude, where have you been the past decade +? You're just setting yourself up for heart break and disappointment...cm'on man...AFC Champions...11-13 wins? Lol.
You are misunderstanding what I'm saying, this is not a prediction, its my logic for thinking 20-1 is good odds on a long term bet. I'll try to explain my thinking again:
Our path to the Superbowl is homefield advantage, without homefield advantage we have little chance. Our path to getting homefield advantage is by winning 11-13 games. And our path to winning 11-13 games is running an effective up tempo Chip Kelly type offense, and of course Tannehill has to be better. If all of this happens and we enter the playoffs with homefield advantage as an up tempo team playing cold weather teams in Miami in January we will be pretty big favorites to actually go to the SB at that point. Up tempo + homefield + opponent from cold weather city = big advantage
A lot of this hinges on Tannehill, I still can't make up my mind on him but a lot of people thinks he will be really good, and if that's true we should find out this season. If he would have played well the last 2 weeks we would have won 10 games even with all of our issues. The Bengals won 11 games with Dalton. I don't think us winning 12 is an impossibility.
