Just not very good right now

There are alot of things that suck right now if your a Dolphin or a fan of the Dolphins. Not only is the team a disaster right now....we (the fanbase) are completed divided. Half support Cpep, half support Harrington. Half support Ronnie, the other half think Ricky would make a difference (not true IMO :shakeno:). Some are quickly losing faith in the coaching while others are not. To me, it seems like a big mess. Not only from the actual team perspective, but the fan perspective. Honestly, does anyone TRULY know what is wrong this team? Is it the QB situation? Is it the coaching? Is it Ronnie? Is it no Ricky? Is it the age of the defense? Is it lack of talent in the secondary? I'd ask if its the oline but everyone already knows its a problem (probably the ONE common concern among fans). Is it just everything combined?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm just having a hard time getting a grip of what the problem is. Maybe its' everything....coaches to players. Its easy for fans to point the finger at certain players making them scapegoats. Say what you want about Ronnie, but there is absolutely NO holes for him to run through. Did he play well today? Not particularly. What happened to Chris Chambers? He's good for one reverse a game and a couple short completions. This guy is supposed to be our number 1 receiver yet he's nowhere to be found on gameday. I know he's being covered by the opponents best corner, but still....shouldn't he still be able to get open every now and then? I just dont understand whats happening there. I like Chris too and we all saw what he can (see last year).

I will have to admit, this is the first time I've been overly frustrated with my team. I can be very upset and get mad and react like any other fan. But after todays loss, I'm just down right frustarted. I felt like the end of last season was light at the end of the tunnel. But now it seems we're going the wrong way in that same tunnel. I guess I don't have alot of "great" points in this thread just kinda ranting.

I dont know, what is wrong with this team? Even bad teams in this league can make some noise EVEN with losing. This team just isn't doing much of anything (although today was better in the 1st half).

the team right now is playing bad football, they are bad. special teams, offense, defense. nothing is really clicking, there are definately bright spots and certain players that are doing ok, i thought the overall defense todaywas very good...but there are too many mistakes, too many penalties, too many errors on almost every play, thats bad football. i think this can be a good team, but as a team we are not playing well together. i'm not blaming just the players, i think everyone in the organization has some blame to share here, nothing is clicking, i'm frustrated also

it all starts in the trenches. The line passblocked OK, but only by creating a logjam. Not much could get through to the QB, but that also meant not much running game could get through either. We need better offensive linemen.

You're right....football games are won and lost in the trenches and right now our trenches need a good cleaning...they are full of garbage.
