Just ran into Jamar Taylor and Will Davis

A CB in the draft is a real possibility, even in the first round or later rounds. I think CB is one of the 7 picks.

I'm surprised anyone could get close to these guys, since judging by their performance last year they don't seem to like being in close proximity to other human beings.

All jokes aside, it's cool you got to meet them, and I actually still believe that one or both can turn into a good player.

Im excepting big thing from taylor this year

I hope you didn't run into them to hard they just got off the IR

will davis better hope they don't invest in corners come the draft...i can tell ya that
We had better hope they do, because past Grimes (and Finnegan maybe) we have NOONE. Taylor and Davis are both trash

You won't find me disagreeing with you on Davis. But Taylor? Have you ever seen the kid play? He might have been injured lately and a risk as a result, but as a player he is far from trash. Some people on here are very quick to dismiss hard-working, talented players. It might be worth reminding yourself about why he was being talked about in the first round range....

I wasnt impressed with his play when he got reps. Also, the guy almost quit football.

never understood that pick at all and with Taylor's health problem wouldn't have touched him.
Davis is probably a pretty big experiment. He wasn't physically strong enough to compete last year but he has pretty big upside. He has extreme confidence in himself and in making interceptions. The receiver will be well placed to catch the ball and Davis has the ability to swoop in the last second and catch the ball. He doesn't go for the punch - he goes for the interception. It happened day after day in training camp last year against some of our good receivers, but his other defensive skills were not developed and sometimes he got burned.
Let's see what we have this year. If he's not physically stronger, we have a serious problem. However, he should be better prepared to compete. Ireland gave up a draft pick to move up and get him because he was scared he mightn't be there. He wanted him and he got him.
