He is like Cory Chaveous, in that he evaluates other players. During my reading I pulled out this information:

Allen will be able to compare himself against his draft classmates and approximately 25-30 other players the Dolphins will look at as undrafted free agents or tryout players.

According to the media, Saban is not going to announce the invitees. But that is a lot of players. If you guys hear anything please let the board know.

Chaveous did a great job on the NFL network coverage of the draft.

You will find it at draftdaddy.com in their draft blogs.

draft experts

Everyone has an opinion about our draft, but what is the point? I'm sure everyone knew that Travis Daniels would make a statement and that Chaning Crowder wasn't an injury risk! The facts are that no one knows until these guys prove it on the field. Nick knows what he likes and those guys should pan out, you can't dog our draft because the season hasn't started yet. What I do like is Nick's intellegence any disciple that he makes his players follow. He will be our coach for a long time.

I was never a big fan of Corey Chavous. He seems to like everyone. He even had Reggie McNeal listed as his #1 player this year.

The caption that I kept reading at the bottom of the screen on draft day was that our top 3 draft picks started and played at a high level. I think this year will be the same thing but that it will only be two. Hagan and Allen. Aromashadu will be the KR/Alvin Harper guy. The rest will take a year to move into the system full time IMO but will have flash moments. Wright will probably get his surgeory and wait until mid season to see if he stays on PUP. After that, he should take Vonnie Hollidays spot on the roster.

that article got me all pumped...i can't wait to see what j. allen can do...i can't wait for the season to start!!!

Go Fins!!!

Why do we ever doubt Saban? Great read.

I hope he does better at safety or other guys step up at cb so he can play safety. I've been dying for the Dolphins to have a big play safety that can really man the secondary (a student of the game).

I don't think the guy is good. IMO, he just feels he is because he's a player. If I remember his number 1 prospect was Reggie McNeal (or maybe his number 1 QB). Did he even get drafted?

because corey is a pro player who actually DOES understand the game
and actually watched him play and studied his game tapes.

but, that doesn't mean he is right. or wrong!

i don't know about best in the draft, but if a team lets him be who
he is and lets him play qb, on the right team he will be the absolute
"suprise" of the draft.

he was in my top 5 i wanted for the fins.

DOFAN11: yes, he did get drafted.
