he is added 16 pounds already and he has been at the facility everyday. He is showing the Dedication that makes Manning and Brady great. Guys we have our quarterback and his name is John Beck.
 
Added 16lbs? Did they mention what his current weight is?
 
He apparently weighed 205 at the end of last season so he must be 221 now if he added 16 pounds. I read somewhere else that he added 11 pounds but not 16.

Well he's got the kinda coaching staff that believes dedication is key to success. Lets hope the FO makes the right moves between now and the start of the season to add the help needed to move the ball effectively. If we add two Olinemen to the team early in the draft, I believe we will be successful. How successful depends on how lucky we are.
 
So he's between 221 and 232 lbs right now. For some reason I thought he was 216 at the end of last season. But I like what I see in his determination.
 
i think he is going to be the future of the dolphins at least i hope so, i love to see that passion coming back to the fins

While that's great news in regards to Beck, we still haven't seen him play a single down / take a snap in 2008. I think we should just take things slow for now, and wait until we've seen him face some opposing defenses before getting overly excited. Beck knows the pressure is on....

Good news, beck is a hard worker and is dedicated. Lets hope it pays off on sundays!

Beck weighed 216 at the beginning of training camp but lost weight during the season. It was reported that he weighed 205 at the end of the season.
