they were talking about the pass interferance call on marshall and they agreed that marshall is so strong that they understood why it was called

i think it was the right call...

if a DB slows down a receiver's pattern with a hand check it'll get called same thing goes for the other side of the ball since they both are suppose to have the same catching rights to the football

u clearly see J Allen lose his footing by the hand check

It was subtle. But correct.

I'm just glad the refs saw it. You're right, that same contact would be called against the Defense all the time.
Should go the other way too.

It was the wrong call. So what if he's strong, all that means is that he's better than Allen because they were both tussling for position and Marshall won.

I think if it were subtle, it wouldn't have been called. The closest Ref had to have been 25 yards away. I think the fact that the two players had space between them you could clearly see Marshals arm extend away from his body and as a direct result of the push Allen fell off balance, hardly made the infraction subtle.

either Allen did a great acting job or it wasn't so subtle

if it had negated a 20 yard gain we wouldn't even be talking about it

Sorry bro, but youre wrong on this one...he pushed off thus offensive PI, end of story...I dont care how lightly it is, when the ball is in the air both the WR and the DB are recievers and have equal right at the ball. Neither are allowed contact unless it is incidental, and Marshalls touch was not incidental and threw Allen off his route

I don't think Allen would have done an acting job when a long (TD) pass reception is at stake. It's better to stay in step and try to make a play than to lobby for a penalty.

Yeah Allen was running step for step with him and he did push off and thats how he got the seperation needed to make the play. That makes it OPI.

It was the right call, just like the PI they called against the Dolphins defense that setup Denver for a first and goal from the 1 yard line that gave Denver 7 points was the right call.

BOTH GOOD CALLS

Bottom line is that he pushed off. Doesn't matter if it was hard or soft. He moved the DB to get better position to the ball. Thats OPI. It was a good call and the right call.
