Here's another name to add to the list of high-profile coaches who could land in Miami:
Bill Parcells. There's talk in league circles that, if the Fins decide to keep GM Randy Mueller, a Mueller-Parcells pairing could work. Parcells, we're told, has always had a good relationship with Mueller. And there is an increasing belief that Parcells has had all he can take of owner Jerry Jones.

Former Dolphins offensive coordinator Chan Gailey and former Falcons coach Jim Mora will interview for the Miami coaching position as early as today.

Ricky Williams is taking and passing all his tests in the NFL's drug testing program and intends to apply for re-admission to the league in April, his agent, Leigh Steinberg, said Thursday. Steinberg also said Williams will play for whichever coach the Dolphins pick as a successor to Nick Saban.

Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor is weighing whether to retire or pursue an acting career.

The Browns have requested permission from Miami to interview Jason Garrett for the position of offensive coordinator, according to a source with the Dolphins. It's the first hard evidence they intend to replace Jeff Davidson, who might return to coach the offensive line full time.

Nice! I would not mind "The Tuna" coaching the Fins. But he is getting old and I sure do not want to change HC anytime soon...... again. I would much rather have a young candidate get the nod.

Yeah I want a guy no older than mid-40's preferably. Stability is what we need.

Yeah, but If Bill can get us ready for a SB run, we would be very hard to turn down for any HC porspect. I think Bill could at the very least, make this team better and quickly. BTW, wouldn't that make Bill the first HC to ever coach three teams in the same division?? I think so.

Then again maybe The Tuna can be interim for Cowher's one year off

It would be great to see Parcells coaching the Dolphins.

umm, how many draft picks will he cost us?

my only worry with Parcellsbecoming our head coach is the fact that it will be another Jimmy Johnson stint at coaching our Phins....Parcells is washed up....he's still a good coach and a good consultant, but his fire and thirst for another ring are long gone....

He retired and came back twice. If he coaches our phins, look for it to be a 2 year stint

Parcells would want to get rid of the light weight linebacker Thomas and our too light DE Taylor..... I think the Cowboys is Parcells last stint as a coach.... he looks too old and too tired of the BS with younger players

I've thought about this and Parcells would be a good coach for the Dolphins. I am trying to think of a way that we could get a coach for 1 season and then get Cower the next season. Maybe not a good idea but i sure would love to have Cower for our coach for the next 10 years.

Thats not completely true, he went to Dallas with the intension of replacing Dat Nygen, but then fell in love with him when he saw him play, they he hurt his neck and was force to retire, but i think parcells would feel the same about Thomas when he saw im up close. Either way Parcells isnt the answer we cant keep have new coaches coming and going, if he did come here he would be here for 2 years max before he retired for good

I wouldnt mind bill i guess? he is old tho but whats his expertise? off or def?
