ok..so now that stallworth is in NE, trent green is in our qb mix possibly, randy moss trade rumors to NE are now completely dead, rickys supposedly applied for reinstatement, and among all of our free agent signings and losses....what do you guys think is next?? do u think maybe moss rumors will now fly to us, rickys reinstatement gets rejected again, trent green to be traded to us, and anyother signings or losses? does anyone know at all roughly how we are capwise and do we have enough room for lets say a randy moss or a trent green IMO i dont think we should get trent.... randy on the otherhand could be a good pickup....thoughts????

I heard yesterday that they might cut Moss because he counts $11 million against the cap. I'd love to sign him. I don't think he'd be much of a problem. He doesn't really have many off field issues and I think he'd focus with Culpepper throwing to him again.

Good Value

I think Cam and Randy have demonstrated that they are going to go with the principal of getting good value for our trades, pics, signings, throughout the offseason, FA period, and hopefully draft. If we do get Trent Green, Randy Moss (longshot), or any other players, it will have to be at the right price. We did give Porter a big contract but for what players are going for this offseason I think it was still a good value for what he brings to the table in terms of production, attitude, and experience. We might go after Ken Hamilin to help sure up our defensive backfield, but agian only at the right price.

They also said that cory Slesinger is the kind of guy they want as an example of the kind of players they are going to bring in here.

use remaining cap to sign guys who can fill holes and play special teams, and get talent through the draft

thast the thing, we haven't gotten many wholes filled compared to previous 2 yrs but a lot has to do with the fact that there aren't many OLD guys this time around as oppose to the last 2 yeras in FA. lolll

The Randy Moss trade to Tampa Bay talks are still going but I'm not sure if TB wants to part with a first day pick. If Trent Green comes to Miami, that possibly means Daunte may not be ready for the first mini camp next month and the team needs a QB to run the offense. Ricky won't apply for reinstatement until April and his hearing won't be until the middle of the month. We should hear something before the draft.

I hope Moss goes to Tampa so they might be more inclined to trade down and for a cheaper price.

I'd give any finger except the thumb to see Calvin Johnson in a Dolphin's uniform.

Plus, it's more than likely that either Gaines Adams, Jamaal Anderson, or Alan Branch is going to be availabe at 9 and that's what Gruden really wants, defense.

if it wasn't for randy moss' situation i think he'd be a fin. I still think its a slight possilbility.

one thing i know for sure - Our 1'st round Draft Pick this year is going to OFFENSE.

I couldn't agree more.

Just asking- Would you rather have Randy Moss or Calvin Johnson?

randy moss with 1 leg at this point,

I also think due to the insane amount of great-looking recievers in this year's draft, we can probably draft one with our #40 pick, who will be good. and obviously by #40 calvin johnson will be gone.

Wow dude, really? On one leg?

Well, we all have our own point of views.

What is it you don't like about Johnson though, that we'll probably have to give up too much to get him?

yah the only way i'd see us getting him is if there werent so many other good recievers in the draft.

i mean... he probably will be a top 5 pick right? so we couldn't even get him without trading up.... i'd rather spend the #9 on somebody else and get a reciever with the #40
