That was Jimmy clausen. Matt Moore wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination last year. In fact I wanted to sign him when everyone was clamoring for orton last year. He provides excellent mobility in the pocket, I remember him making something out of nothing more than a few times last year. I would be curious to see him with a full offseason under Joe philbin. My only question is he accurate enough for the wco?

Suffered a concussion week one against the giants. I know because I was at that game. He wasn't the same after that and had to shut it down
I agree.. This front office is the worst, and I mean worst, at making decisions. They simply cannot make any decisions. Just stay with Matt Moore for christs sake and draft Barkley next year. Enough of this circus show.

I dont buy that concussion excuse. He started the very next week so obviously it wasnt so bad. He then had like six weeks to rest and started again and still played bad then was benched for Clauson. Always excuses.
Yes we all know that because NFL players played the next week that means that their concussion was fine.

no it means the doctors evaluated him and cleared him. so he was still feeling affects six weeks later if it was that bad he would not have played next week

The NFL came out with it's new concussion policy because players were playing while still suffering from concussion symptoms I believe he suffered another concussion and then shut it down.

Not making excuses for Matt Moore, because I don't buy that concussion excuse in its entirety either, but the medical clearance on concussions that a lot of teams employ is a joke. It's getting better because of high profile lawsuits against the league and former players committing suicide (and their families blaming it on brain trauma) but there's still a long way to go. Every time Troy Polamalu gets a concussion the Steelers' training staff labels it something like "head area injury" or something ridiculous like that because they're hoping they can sneak him back into the game.

actually they shut him down week 2 because he was 6 of 16 . I see people have concussions all the time and most dont take a year to recover

If we can't get flynn, then just stay with moore. If we want to move in the QB position, at least let it be an upgrade... Because not any other qb mentioned gives you that chance other than maybe flynn... Else wait for the draft.
