Almost every team in the NFL has have their starting QBs in place, the best 2 qbs in next yeaar's draft coulb be up for grab. Matt Barkley and Landry Jones plus plenty of choices fo qbs. Moreover, Matt Moore could work out very well considering he is entering a contrac year.

Saying that Matt Flynn rejected the Dolphins is an inaccurate statement. All things being equal, he would have chosen the Phins. It has already been reported that Seattle pursued him more aggressively. That means that our coaching staff was not all on board with signing him to a big contract. I'm guessing they offered him an incentive laden deal in the 3-5 million/yr range.
Its pretty obvious that Philbin wants something more to work with. He was a 7th rd pick for a reason and was a product of the GB system and the surrounding talent.

If there were some way to guarantee we could get Barkley next year, I'd be fine with JaMarcus Russell playing QB for us....but sadly there are no guarantees unless we finish dead last in the league, and I think our defense will be good enough that I don't see that happening. Offensively I have no idea what this team will look like.
