Just want an opinion, now that we seen Steen hold up.

After yesterday's game I though Steen held his ground pretty well, along with the rest of the line, give and take some plays here and there. I think Miami should either think about trading Pouncey or switching him over to guard and if he doesn't like the thought, Gase should grab his man package like he did when he told Ajayi he would not be traveling with the team and trade him. Thoughts anyone?

Didn't Pouncey perform poorly at guard last year? And I am pretty sure I recall seeing the o-line blown up big time through the middle on at least 5 occasions yesterday. Steen is promising, but I wouldn't drop Pouncey just yet.

I believe this was a thread after Steen's preseason game at Center...a bunch of people seem to say Pouncey isn't a good guard. Why not move Steen to Guard and let Pouncey play his position? I think trading one of your top offensive linemen is not an option for this team.

I think Pouncey is overrated. I also think this hip issue may be a bit more serious than anyone is talking about. Who knows how this will affect his mobility or his ability to anchor. Dolphins need to start putting a contingency plan in place should Pouncey have a dramatic decline or continue to have injury issues.

I think Albert's days at LT are numbered as well. He lumbered out there. Lunged. Got beat multiple times.
Needs to consider a position switch right about now, which should've been done months ago.

Steen, James, and the guards were okay. Nothing flashy and noticeably terrible. A welcomed change.

But to the OP; I'm a fan of Steen but he did not play well nor did he call a good game. There were protection scheme breakdowns all day. Tannehill took some vicious hits from unassigned blitzers.
