The Auburn Alabama game. Came to the conclusion Tua is overrated. Just watched the AL second string QB throwing to wide open WRs all day long. If Burrow was out with an injury LSU would fail. Tua was surrounded by major league talent. Not worth a first round pick
 
Tua wasn’t overrated but the one knock on him, well the 2 knocks on him were he doesn’t have elite size and he seems to be injury prone.

Now with that hip injury he’s a luxury pick imo. You can’t draft him at the top of the first when you are the dolphins and need to draft guys that can be impact players immediately.

It’s referred to as confirmation bias. You’re seeing what you want to see. Because if you were objective about it, you’d also point out that Joe Burrow is surrounded by major league talent too. Often has all day to throw and Ja’Marr Chase is wide open all day long too.

You also conveniently ignored that Mac Jones threw 2 pick 6’s today, something Tua generally avoids doing, which helped lead to their loss.

Lastly, do you need a long list of players that were surrounded by major league talent in college that still were good or great players in the NFL? Pretty much any marquee name program you can think of has that situation.

That’s as imperfect and unreliable a reason as you can make up.

I'm taking Tua at the top of the first and not looking back.

I came to the conclusion that the cb diggs despite being new to defense I have no interest in. He looks lost out there. Top 20 pick I just can’t do it.

I also like the safety #15 for bama. Very heady player very assignment sound. I kinda wonder about the tackling at the next level as a starting safety and I think the atblete looks rather average for a top 20 pick grade safety which might help you get him a smidge later. But I bet he’s a solid pro.

You would be wrong about Tua. Jones did not hit players in stride and threw two pick 6’s and was bailed out on a jump ball by Waddell.
 
Bama has 4 receivers likely to be drafted, 2 of which will go high.

Tua doesn't throw those pick 6s.

there’s a point you take a chance but I’m just not doing it top 25. It’s basically pitch and catch vs him right now. Back shoulder front shoulder it doesn’t matter
