Sometimes,it is hard to be a fan. I expected a better performance today. I don't expect a big win, but my hope is a competitive football team. We were eviscerated in every stage of the game. I am so dissappointed.

I just wanted to see a tougher, more physical team this year. Is that unrealistic? How long do we need to wait before this team gells?

What would satisfy you from the Phins this year?

I would like to see more of Henne...if he is the future, mold him now. I would like to see a real wideout become our top priority. I would like to see us stop the run.

Am I asking for too much?

Fish went 1-15 last year. Sorry for the sobering dose of reality, but realistic expectation (improvement) is 3-13. Maybe 4-12.

What really bothers me right now is that our problems haven't diminished at all from last year. I would be happy with progress. We look exactly like last year:

1. We must always play from behind
2. We can't stop the run
3. We can't run
4. We have invisible wideouts
5. We struggle against the mid-range and long passing game
6. We have mediocre QB play
7. Special teams is largely mediocre
8. Lack of discipline...stupid penalties

I don't expect overnight success, but have we crossed any of last year's deficiencies off of the list being created by this year's team? It seems we are building on the misery instead of forging a new path.

How long before we see any improvement?

Realistically what you really want to see is some type of improvement in a certain area, some glimmer of hope to give you something to be excited about. That even in a loss you could look back and say well hey at least we looked good here or there neither game so far do we have any sense of hope.

Well stated. It is hope that is missing from this team. How long before Wayne H. looks to sell this team and get out from under the plummeting ticket sales?

The bills started pretty bad last year and put edwards in, now they have started to turn things around, the phins might as well do the same thing with Henne

Its hard to be optomistic but I think the Dolphins will win atleast five games this year.

Its tough to win games on the road in the NFL, but I never envisioned the crappy Cardinals taking us to the woodshed like they did today. We were outclasses in every fact of the game.

I want us to finish the year with a better record than the Chiefs, Raiders, 49ers, Falcons. I don't want to root for the worst team in the NFL anymore. I think it now time for a drink!!!:beer1:

I agree with this post... no improvement from last year until now. We actually started with a close loss last year before everything unravelled...

I would also like to see a light at the end of the tunnel...

The Cardinals do not suck. I believe they are a playoff team. The Rams and KC are worse than us. We should play Henne. We do not have anything good, but a QB. That's it. We suck every where else. By the end of 2008, most of the fans will see light at the end of the tunnel.
