There are two ways of becoming a monotor.

First way is the toughest. You have to be a really good poster, you have to be friendly to your fellow members and be ready to help them out at the drop of a hat. You have to have a good understanding of the rules of the site and not be a disruptive poster. And you have to be willing to volunteer your time for a job that doesn't pay anything, comes with alot of headaches and instantly makes you "the bad guy".
