Austin jackson sucks too. If you compare Tua to Herbert, then Grier has gone 0 for 4 in the last 2 drafts in the first round.

i was going to say the same thing about Hunter Long.. is he hurt?? what's the story with him.. i was hoping he was an upgrade over Shaheen and smythe and carter.. who knows

Austin jackson sucks too. If you compare Tua to Herbert, then Grier has gone 0 for 4 in the last 2 drafts in the first round.

Phillips has been dealing with an ankle injury which is why he played so little against the Falcons.

While I agree he isn’t very good. The fact is if Iggy was anywhere close to what they hoped he would be when they drafted him, there would have been no need to sign Coleman to begin with.

Grier and Flores hoped Coleman could come in and be the player he was a few years ago but it hasn’t happened.

Regarding Coleman. Does anyone like their slot CB on any team? It’s the easiest position for todays non-contact releases by WRs to abuse. Probably the hardest position to play on D nowadays.

We think Coleman stinks.
We thought McCain stunk at it
We thought Nolan Caroll stunk at it
Etc

Every slot CB gets roasted - have to get pressure on the QB or that coverage has 0 chance.

He is a young QB, still learning to play in the NFL and the fans and coaches of the Chargers understand this. Unfortunately many of the fans of the Dolphins seem to think if you aren’t an all pro QB on a Dolphin offense with terrible talent. You are a bust.
