I know the "Texans workout Justin Gatlin" story happened awhile ago, but I was just wondering, does anyone know what his 40 was clocked at? I'm just curious, as it'd be interesting to see him have a shot in the league. I'm not saying I think this guy will be a great player, hell, he may not even be good, but it'd be interesting to see what he can do.

Something ridiculous- I think it was Stuart Scott that said 3.8.:eek:

Holy CRAP!

I doubt he'd ever make the Pro Bowl, but if he did I guess De'Angelo Hall wouldn't win that fastest man contest anymore

Anyway, I hope he DOES sign with someone, it can't hurt and it might be interesting to watch.

A 3.8 is completely unrealistic. If they clocked that, they must've given him a 10 yard head start. I read an article on 40's a while back and it talked about how sprinters times aren't as fast as you'd think because a lot of their speed comes from momentum at the back end of the 100m or something.

Maurice Greene (I think it was him -- or another world class sprinter) ran the 40 a few years back I remember. He clocked a 4.38.

That's definitely unrealistic. Good ole' Stu.
My understanding is that you probably couldn't find someone break 4.2 legitimately.

I'll believe it when I see it. Still, if it's true, pretty hilarious that he cuts about a second off most linemen

He would be a great kick returner and no one would be able to defend him on the deep ball.

I doubt he could change direction. He would be running fly routes and thats it.

HE runs a 3.8 i heard, and yes i mean ill start him on croner.

You tell justin hey try to cover him tight if he juks you well get back to him cause you got world class speed, i mean champ bailey is a little gambler and has the great speed to make up for it, imagine 3.8.

Yes 3.8 is man its just insane, and have him return some balls, i eman when youre that fast very body looks so slow you just have to out run them and hit a hole, i mean every can hit a hole but do you have the speed to break away and this guy does.
