The Gayders had sucked his talent into the black hole that is their team. He was one of the best FBs in the league with Atlanta and he just got released. We need an FB so lets get this guy!
 
I'd be fine to have him at the veteran minimum. He's nowhere near where he was when he played in Atlanta
 
Since when do we need a FB? Polite was great for us.

Careful. TonySparanoTuna "knows a good football player when he sees one" and apparently Polite isn't one of them. TST, how come you don't have a job with the Phins FO if you know football sooooo well.

Please give me a break. FB, QB, TE, and HB are the only positions on this team that don't need additions in talent.
 
We don't really use an FB as a lead blocker. We like to use more two TE sets for that.
 
Polite is one of the best FBs we have had in awhile, he will only get better every year. We need to stick to a guy who knows the system, and besides he did well last year with our O-Line the way it was.
 
Raiders released FB Justin Griffith.

Griffith, 28, tore his ACL in October and was never a big part of Oakland's offense after coming from Atlanta. The writing was on the wall when the Raiders cut ties with Griffith's old friend, offensive coordinator Greg Knapp.

griffith was the best running fullback in the league 2 years ago.. blocking? i dont know about that, but i like griffith as a competition for polite..
 
i like polite. FB is not a need by any stretch of even Finsheaven poster's imagination. which is saying something.
 
worst comes to worst we use either haynos or martin as at fb rather use one of them than waste another roster spot, so we got polite and one of te's
