this guy is one of the most underrated FBs in the game. he's only 26 and he's one of the best lead blockers in the game. and he can carry the ball as well as catch the ball too. for some reason he doesn't fit Petrino's plan so he will be allowed to walk. he would come cheap and fits the bill for a Cameron type FB, so instead of going after Ovie Mughelli who would want top dollar how about Griffith?

There are too many other needs and Fullback isn't really a priority this FA, but if he was willing to come cheap I'd consider it, but I'd rater not eat up cap space unless it's for glaring needs.

Dude if we sign him that would be so good.

#1.He is fast.

#2.He is a good blocker.

#3.He is young.

#4.And we should sign him.

I like utilizing are FB.Especially when there strong and fast.

That would be sick.

Miami wants to fill the FB position during FA. They are looking at Mughelli and possibly Griffith too. I like Barnes but if we can get an upgrade that will open huge holes for Ronnie bring him on.

Great call on him ! he is tough little back, at 5'11 232 pounds.Great receiver usually ctaches about 20-25 balls a year and could be usefull in short yardage situation.only 26 yrs old i beleive.WOuld love to see Branes go i think he is a decent fb who is proble more suited for s/t.

Griffith isnt one of the best lead blockers in any sense. He's a fairly mediocre lead blocker. He's a solid jack of all trades type, like a Sammy Morris or Patrick Pass.

Free Agent is most certainly a priority this offseason. Cameron's offense utilizes alot of fullback, and neither Saban nor it seems Cameron think that much of Barnes.

bring back beasley

Why? There is a very good reason why he was on the market when we signed him last year. It's the same reason why he was cut, and the same reason why no one has even sniffed at him since then.

He's done. Stick a fork in him.

Why devalue the FB position? Its a critical part of Cam's offense, look at Lorenzo Neal in SD. Its something we must upgrade in the offseason. I like both Mughelli and Griffith, though keep in mind that neither will come "cheap".

Is Patrick Pass a FA (since someone mentioned him)? He has always played well against the Fins, and would be a solid replacement for Sammy Morris.
