I have been a fan of this guy since he joined our squad. He can block and catch. He was able to make some big plays for us this year. For most of his career he has been a #2 TE. Do you think he could be successful as a#1 TE if he was given the chance?Do you think Yes he has the talent with work to become a Witten or Clark or NO he is a #2 TE and that is all his talent will ever allow him to be.

He doesn't have the speed or breakaway ability to be a true #1 TE. But he is a very very good #2 TE. If we get a very good TE we could run a lot of twin TE sets especially in the end-zone.

I really like Justin. He stays IMO. Cut Martin, and draft a TE on Day One (well, the old definition of Day One, as in the first three rounds).

Think he's a very good number two and probably below average number one. But I like him and he's a Parcells type of player. Parcells might carry three Tight Ends.

I'm thinking we draft one and pickup someone like Sean Ryan from the Jets in free agency but its possible we get a bigger name TE in free agency and forego the drafting part. Ben Hartstock or Ben Troupe might be possibilities. I like Dwayne Blakely. He would come real cheap. He's a complete roll of the dice though.

Generally, Parcells prefers complete Tight Ends so if we draft he's going to be looking for more of a blocking/ receiving Tight End than just a receiver type which are common nowadays

i like justin peelle im just not sure he could be a true #1 but i could be wrong

John Carlson is a big time Parcells player. Would not surprise me at all if we draft him in the 2nd.

As the season wore on, Peelle really wore down and it was obvious. He looked much slower and could not make many yards after the catch like he did earlier in the season. His blocking also declined.

Peelle is a good player with limited physical tools. I would like to see him as our number two tight end next year.

you could say that about 90% of the players last yr..everybody going to "club cam" sipping mia ties(sp) and watching espn in the weightrooms may have had a influence on that. i aswell really like him as a #2 and assume ireland will be drafting a #1 this yr. i wouldn't mind troupe coming here and drafting one.

I like Peelle, he's a high-effort guy. That said, he's is a nice backup because he just doesn't have physical tools you look for in your #1 TE. He's a nice option for us as a #2, but we can do a lot better with our #1. I fully expect us to pick a TE up this offseason, either in the draft or via free agency. I'd love to get a player in the mold of Witten from the 'Boys.

heard through the grapevine that parcells is interested in trying to get fasano from dallas over to miami................ill let y'all know if here any more on this
