2 outs away from a no hitter, ESPN broke in w/ bonus coverage if you want to see what happens.

Just days after Schilling lost his no-no with 2 outs in the 9th.

Justin has some of the top stuff in the leauge

Just a matter of time with this kid. I can see him throwing another couple for his career, his stuff is that good. Him and Bonderman are studs.

throw in Andrew Miller in the next couple of years and you've got the best 1-3 starters in baseball.

Nice job but I wonder if this would of been a no no in the smaller Tiger Stadium.

The only surprise is that it wasn't done vs my soft hitting ChiSox. Verlander/Bonderman and as he develops Miller are going to have the Tigers extremely tough in the next few years. As the Yankees are making their run how good the Tigers and Indians have been is being forgotten. Verlander being rung up at 102 in the 9th has to be wrong. Guy is filthy enough but that is amazing.

I could see the 102 thing, Verlander can bring the heat. Rich Harden was clocked at 100 MPH a year and a half ago on his 110th pitch.

Congrats to him I saw the final three outs and he still looked nasty.

I remember last year watching my boy Anibal Sanchez throw his no-no and I felt just as good for Justin. His girlfriend/wife was really happy also, it was great.
