K Carter sticks up for Vickerson

If you check the insider K Carter interview he jumps all over a reporter for "lumping" Vickerson and Wright together.. He seems to have a pretty high opinion of vickerson vs not so high for Wright...Also wanted to note that I REALLY like Carter in a football fan kinda way of course.

i agree seems like hes got it together said that vickerson is bigger and stronger than him! wow!
 
Vickerson is a big dude....i hope he can contribute somewhere along the way
 
like i said ive only seen the bear game and they were double teaming him. alot. they arent doing that because he can be blocked with one arm tied behind your back.
 
Since Vickeron is doing well and Wright will make the team because of his skills that he has, which DT's do you guys think that will make the team? As you can see, we have alot of guys that can make the team. The DT's that i think that are good enough to make the team are:

Keith Traylor
Vonnie Holliday
Jeff Zgonina
Josh Shaw
Kevin Vickerson
Manny Wright
Larry Chester


That is alot of guys and we won't be able to keep them all. It will be very interesting to see who will make it.
 
i think 5 is gotta be the max, especially since if needed, carter can move inside.
as of right now i'd go with:

traylor
holiday
zgonina
vickerson
chester

if chester cant come back, then it will probably be shaw.

manny wright is destined for the practice squad and nfl europe before he returns next year for camp.

Wright will not be put on the PS. Somebody will pick him up and then we just gave up a 5th rounder for nothing. Wright will make the team because he prob can do some good things in the next few years. I wouldn't mind sending him to NFLE next year, but he needs to stay and learn more.

I highly doubt Manny will be on the practice squad

YEah people tend to forget that if you put someone on the PS they are eligible for other teams to pick up,

yeah i didn't know that practice squad players are eligible to be picked up by other teams. though i gotta say wright going somewhere else after crying and then looking pitiful against the bears on national tv is not a given. it sucks though that we can't put him on practice squad because on the 53 man roster he is a waste. the kid is not ready for nfl football. next year that might be a diffrent story, but this year i do not see him contributing.

remember that only 45 actually play in a game, there is room for a couple of developmental players that will never play.
