due to shaun alexanders injury the seahawks have cut LB isaiah kacyvenski, at 6-1 252 he seems to fit the mold we are looking for at LB and he is a special teams stand out. i say we would be crazy to not at least have him in for a look. thoughts?

Harvard educated, isn't he? Super smart, but not extremely fast...never racked up big numbers, but I always liked him.

Absolutely. Not only is he a special teams stud, but he's a better fit for a 3-4 ILB than Derrick Pope. If Joe Berger is going to be healthy for next week's game, I would drop either Trey Darilek or William Whitticker and pick up Kacyvinski.

Not sure how he fits our Blitzing scheme when he only has 1 career sack. But maybe he is a blitzer they just never used? I dont know. Seems like he had one really good year with 89 tackles, might be worth a look

Darilek would be the one cut, Whitticker has loads of potential, when you grab an offensive line man who is in his second year and has already started 14 games you dont just cut him like that...

I guess he's worth a look but he's no better than what we have. We need a lb with some passrushing skills and he doesn't have them.

I see just about all of the Seahawk's games, and when he's on the field he seems to always be around the ball. A couple of years ago he stepped into a starting role and really impressed. He is good on special teams and I think he would be a nice add to our LB crew.

I wouldn't mind it. It would help special teams at the very least.
