An increase in minutes for Ballage is a good and bad thing in many ways. Ballage’s game can be defined as a mixed bag, with some excellent traits that should drive his value up and others that will limit his overall ceiling.

The main question here is if Ballage is a threat to Drake‘s starting role in the backfield? After watching the tape, the answer to that question becomes rather clear.

interesting enough most people had him as a pass catcher coming out of college. It's a shame because his athletic talents are up there with the best, but he cannot create for himself which is the major flaw that can't be corrected. I still reserve my judgment and want to see his progress towards the second half of the year. I won't be surprised if drake ends up with a bigger role starting in week 4 though.
