Kalimba Edwards???

I saw Kalimba Edwards was released by Detroit yesterday. He is someone we could bring in to play a 3-4 OLB.

Size-wise he is a clone of Calvin Pace. He has played 1 more season and has 12 more sacks. Pace has alot more tackles but that is because Pace played mainly LB and Edwards played mainly DE.

I think he would be a good fit in Miami.

What do you think?
 
Definately worth a look. Should come much cheaper than the overrated Pace(Ican say that because I thought he was overrated from the beginning, not after we lost him to the jets lol)
 
i love how everyone that gets released is automatically a candidate for a job in miami. lol

edwards... what to say about edwards. he could be worth a look, but im not sure how much more. the lions let him go. he has some health concerns. if he's healthy. maybe take a look... but im not sure.
 
Can we please stop starting a thread on EVERY SINGLE PLAYER that gets cut, saying " We should pick this guy up". This is really getting out of hand. Unless a player signs with Miami, stop with these threads.
 
cleveland is set to look at him next week according to nfl network
 
I've watched the Lions since I was a kid growing up in Detriot. The Lions D-Line has been pretty pathetic with Rodgers Redding Edwards and White in the mix, it hasn't been good. Edwards would be nothing more than a backup on most teams.
 
even he admited that he should be cut cause he didn't play well so I'm not sure he's the type that Bill'd want here.

Yeah I am not sure how much guys cut by Detroit will help any team.
=)
I guess anybody is worth a look though.
 
Can we please stop the .....Dude, it´s the offseason, plus, it doesn´t hurt to look at other peoples opinions on other team´s players! If it wasn´t for some of theese threads, I for one would know very little from guys like Calvin Pace...and so many others, So chill, and if you click on the thread, let it be to enjoy some of the info, or contribute to it. Thanx, GO PHINS!!!
