If we lost at Soldier Field I wouldn't say this,Dolphins will win this game. If Trent comes back he will not be 100% yet so that's not a threat. Huard only threw 15 times against the Lambs, again that's not a threat for our team. If he comes to Pro Player with that plan (which I hope he does) then they haven't a hope. You can bet that Gonzalez will be making us bite our nails but he won't be seeing the ball in his hands as much as he would want to (complements of our defense). Even if they come to play a passing game, we will shake up the QB and force some turnovers.
Our secondary still needs some improvement and I don't think the Bears took advantage of that the way they should have which made them try to run. KC will be show up with the hopes that Johnson will carry the ball, and team, on his back. Our defense will keep Johnson under 100 yards and.
The Bears win is what our team needed. We faced the david and goliath scenario and now our team has confidence and unity. This will be with the Dolphins for our next game, big time. This game is going to depend on the offense and they are clicking. Ronnie will have another 20+ runs and, if the Oline plays like they just did, will have 100 yard game.
Which Fins offense come to the game will be really the deciding factor, our defense will be on the money. Does Joey show and pass pass pass interception like with our other games (even though he had a couple interceptions in the Bears game)? Or do we run run run with Ronnie allowing our pass game to be more complete? I am going with the latter.
Dolphins 21 - Chiefs 10

Let's keep the Ws coming Dolphins!!

I definitely think the Phins have a great chance of winning this game, but I aslo felt that way when these guys came here with three days of practice, and they blew us out. Let's hope that we can continue building on what we already have.

Tony Gonzalez will eat Zach up if he has 1 on 1 coverage.

But i think we can win this came if we stop Johnson and Gonzalez

Don't get overhyped about this win...I'm as excited as anyone, but the Chiefs are a team that has been playing great football and to think we are going to hold Johnson under 100 after what he's been doing the last few weeks is crazy...he'll get his 120+ yards and a TD...we just have to hope huard and gonzalez stop hooking up...We have a great chance to get to 3-6 this week but the Chiefs also have a great chance to get to 6-3...look at the game steven jackson had against them last week at best ronnie would duplicate that and rams still lost...so keep everything in perspective...Your never as bad as you look but your also never as good as you look...just ask the Bears...hopefully we can win 9 in a row...even then we'll only have a CHANCE to make the playoffs...we really killed ourselves losing to these sorry teams because our schedule here on out is not easy

Yes, and also let's hope these guys don't look back negatively. It's a new day, new week and we can only get better and there is no room for making u-turns.

Playoffs at this point is very unlikely. Lets focus on week to week. Let's never underestimate our opponents but find their weakness and strengths. With that being said we know what they do well and we know what we can do well. Let's continue stopping the run and continue shaking up the QB.
Keeping Johnson under 100 yards isn't impossible, improbable maybe based on the past few games but thats where we can do some damage. They are in their comfort zone right now, running the ball.
They won the beat up Seahawks and hung on to win the Chargers by a field goal. Yesterday they won the Lambs, who the 49r's beat, and now they face us. Game on.

Steven Jackson had such a big day because we were playing a soft deep zone in order to prevent the Rams from throwing deep. We succeeded at that and shut down Holt, but it left the underneath passes open all day long. So Jackson got alot of dump off passes, but the Rams still only scored 17 at home. The Chiefs won't do that against the Fins, Chambers and Booker are not Holt and Bruce. Brown will probably get decent running yards against us, but I wouldn't expect him to put up the receiving yards that Jackson did.

This is going to be a tough game for us. You guys are coming off an impressive victory and this is our second straight road game, which teams usually lose. Plus DJ and Tamba got hurt against the rams and their status is uncertain. Our best olineman, Brian Waters probably won't play either.

I think Capers learned his lesson about ZT covering TEs in the begginning of the season with Pitt and Buffalo. I haven't seen them relying on Zach in coverage as much these last few games.

I hope.
:rolleyes2

the key to beating the Chiefs is stopping Larry Johnson, Huard is doing a good job of game managing but he can't win the game if it's on his shoulders

True, Booker and Chambers aren't Bruce and Holt. I do think the Fins run D is much better than the Rams, and if LJ slowed down, Huard doesn't have the ability to take the game on his shoulders and win it. Huard will be better than Green coming back off injury though. Green will probably be easier to rattle. I would hate to be the guy in the backfield for the Chiefs facing this fired up Dolphins D line on Sunday.
IMO.

Great minds think alike. Let's hope the Fins coaches figure it out.

I heard Trent is out for one more week so he won't be playing in Miami
