"As a team, I'm expecting us to win the AFC, period. Point blank," Dansby said. "We've got the talent. We have the coaching. We've just got to put it all together. It's going to come down to us as players going out and excelling and making sure we do everything we possibly can to win every game.

"It's going to be a challenge, no doubt. But that's what you live for. You live for opportunities to have those challenges and we've got the opportunity of a lifetime here in Miami and we've got to take full advantage of it."

Watching Dansby in coverage, I would never imagine for a split second that he used to be a Safety even though he was not a FS, but a SS.

I guess he gained too much weight... He looks really slow/heavy when he has to cover someone.

Maybe when he was 12.......

What ever happened to being Hooked on Phonics!

Man, he's sounding like Rex Ryan with those predictions. Hopefully he doesn't show up overweight again lol.. But he's not awful in coverage, much better than the days of Crowder + ____ . Burnett is pretty good too. I think improved play from the safeties, especially SS, Dansby & Burnett will both look better.

Is there a point playing for a team that you don't believe in?I see no problem in these comments.

I just hope he has a great year and earns some of that contract he has been ok here, and last year he looked better once he was in shape. But so far I think he has really under preformed.

he isnt predicting anything. he feels that they are good enough to win it all. what player doesnt or i should say shouldnt feel that way? gotta be confident in yourself and the people around you to be successfull

i think no offseason training killed the d. but once they started to click it was over with

Coming here, Dansby was a freak of nature, but we have only seen glimpses. This is the year where consistency of jaw dropping plays need to happen for him, for me to believe.

Should have known you were from Gainesville. Where idiots burn the Koran for idiotic reasons, trailer parks are considered homes, and where sports figures are worshipped like gods cause there isn't anything else to do there. Thank you for making a worthless post with no insight to anything but the way he talks. Last I heard, he was born and raised in Alabama and you weren't smart enough to figure that out.

Karlos Dansby is far better than a lot of other linebackers. Yall trippin talking about he isn't good in coverage. I've seen him make plenty of plays on tight ends and wide receivers. Yes he was out of shape but a lot of players were. The whole defense looked out of breathe at the start of the season. Im looking for Dansby to have a big season.

I like Dansby, he was part of the reason we were a top ten D. Hopefully, he comes in tight and ready roll heads. Trust me, running backs are not trying to see a KD in shape, dude can pound people big time.

Good quotes. What you WANT to hear out of a leader!

Maybe his first challenge should be coming into camp in shape. With his contract there is no reason he should be coming into camp overweight and sluggish. In fact, even though I like Dansby as a player, if Miami ends up struggling early he'd be a guy I'd look to deal for draft picks.
