i know that almost every dolphin fan wants ricky back, heck i know i do but also at the same time i am sick and tired of only hearing his name when it has to do with drugs or failed drug test... in worst case scenario ricky is not allowed back because he really did fail his test why not give kay-jay harris a shot at making the final roster he was one heck of a running back for west virginia and i think he could prove to be a quality back up... Thoughts?

He'll have a chance to compete for a job with Minor, IMO. Personally, Im shocked we havent shown more interest in resigning Sammy Morris. The guy is such a versatile player. Every team needs one.

well he is worth giving a shot but id rather not have him as the primary backup to ronnie.....

I wouldn't mind giving him a shot, my friend in Miami called me a minute ago and said the Dolphins are looking at Najeh Davenport" sorry bout the spelling of his name.He might be alright.

Yeah Morris was good on goal line plays  and Special Teams

I'd actually love to see Miami trade Ricky Williams even if it's just for a 3rd round pick. Ricky is definitely a talent, exciting to watch etc., but how much can the team depend on him? He could decide to retire tomorrow.

I agree, we should have resigned Sammy. I like Kay-Jay and hope to see him get some playing time this season

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Wannspeil offer a second for Davenport before the Ricky deal? Now he is a FA who never made it with the Pack. At least we didn't make the deal.

Oh and to the topic of this thread, I would be OK with giving Harris a shot at the back-up role but I won't be holding my breath. If the league thought he had that much potential they could have either drafted him or raided him off our practice squad. The rest of the league sees something we don't or maybe better yet doesn't see what we do!

Harris will get a chance in TC and about trading Rucky...nobody's gonna give us anything for him at this time...if he's clear of the charges then somebody could trade for him...maybe Indy since the lost Edge?

Ozzy rules!!

guys if kj was a good player hed play as it is he is on the ps. and could u imagine if we had traded for larry johnson. NOTE I AM HAPPY TO HAVE RONNIE BROWN

I thought KJ was a headcase who doesn't have great work habits and doesn't pick up the blitz or block too well. Great runner, but not much else.
