Keenan Lewis (DB) wants out of NOLA or Contract Guaranteed (3 years, $20M)

I know we had some interest a couple years ago when he was a FA. He is coming off a tough year I will say that, but so is anyone on the NOLA defense. Still he was voted the D MVP for the team. I think he could be a great pick up for us. He is a very good zone corner which bodes well for our defense. Try to maybe trade with the Saints (4th rounder) and get him here for a pretty fair price at $7M a year.

P.S. Him and Mike Wallace are great friends. Maybe use that to convince Wallace that him restructuring would help bring in Lewis.

I think Lewis will get interest from other teams so I suggested a 4th because I doubt any team will offer anything more than a 4th. I felt that was the max the Saints could get. Plus we can "extend" him to rework his deal to make it more cap friendly.

It would take only a very late pick. NO's is desperate to shed salary. I'd pursue it. I'm not crazy about picking up two DBs from that trash heap D in NO, but there's talent there.

i'm in on this...one of the better cbs in the game when healthy...had a top 50 grade on him coming out of colorado...good player here...i'd take that contract on

that contracts not even a bad one...
