Starting lineup is set and FO is set to churn up the bottom half of the roster on the waiver wire all year so why not keep them all until some team with an injury antes up something in trade? I am so sick of reading this team or that is waiting for Beck to get cut. No way we should give him up for nothing!

Cut your losses and move on. Better to keep a young OL/DL/WR/LB/CB/....than a QB you have no intention of using.

i agree, but what team wants to take on his contract?

I'd still like to see the kid develop, but didn't I hear that Boller has a serious problem with his shoulder?

You know what I'm thinking, right?

Baltimore=Cameron=Trade....

If I were Sparano I'd be claiming we were going to keep 4 Qb's everyday in the media and praising his work ethic and potential.

Lets hope he has a great game Thursday!

beck's contract is fairly cheap

I doubt we get rid of any player that may have trade value. And if I recall Beck's contract isn't very big so another team in need of a QB might take him on. IMHO, Beck hasn't been given nearly enough time for an adequate evaluation but it doesn't appear that he's going to get a shot here so if he can bring anything even a 5th or a 6th I'd pull the trigger.

Reagardless of what we do, our situation is much better than last year!

I'd prefer to keep all 4 aswell, but if we do cut him I hope all the people screaming about cutting Feely and getting nothing in return see how that's briefly turned out. This FO knows what it's doing and if they cut him then bye bye, otherwise I would love to see him develope here not somewhere else.

I think we will actually keep all four. Let the year play out and wash out the QB(s) that don't work out. We know the Chads are staying. Beck has the best long ball and showed savvy in college. McCown is a backup with limited growth.

However, we're a young rebuiding team and need time to determine if Beck or Henne is the future. Keep both veterans for steadiness and to teach the young ones.

McCown will be cut thats all there is to it unless a trade is made.

Even if Beck gets cut right before the season begins he isn't going to do anything for any team in 2008 because he won't know their system

I'd rather ditch one of the QBs to open up a spot for an extra WR/RB/OL/etc.

Beck is probably the guy that brings back a draft pick, so I'd be moving him. We're not moving Pennington or Henne, and McCown is probably going to get us nothing on the open market.

McCown is the underperforming veteran the Ravens were counting on Boller to be.. maybe we can get a reasonable pick for him from them.

IMO you cut McClown, older and he is garbage. As far as Beck he hasnt been given enough time and with two years under his belt he may finally "get it".

yea just what Balt needs a third young qb not ready to start in the NFL. What a coup.
