Keep an eye on this kid day 2

I don't believe he's a sleeper in the eyes of the GM's. I think he's a day two pick and wouldn't be shocked one bit if he's rated highly on Miami WR draft board.

Solid player but not what we need. We already got a better version of Brown in Fuller. Both are deep ball specialist, and Fuller could be a #1 if needed. But as a Tarheels fan living in NC I do like him, just not for us.

There is some talk Dyami Brown will go in the 2nd round. He's really risen on draft boards. He was thought to be a 3rd or 4th round sleeper, at first. Now he seems to be on everyone's list as a riser. Good player, very underrated. Love this kid. One of my favorite prospects in the draft.

I’m an alum and also live in NC! His 4.4 pro day time def puts him on our radar. Fuller might only be a one yr fix.

Secret is out. Lol. Great production, 4.4 with a 35 inch vert.

Most list I have seen show him as a top 10 WR in this years draft class.I think he is more likely a day 2 draft pick than a day 3 pick. If he does slip past the third round and is still on the board when the Dolphins have their 4th round pick, he would be a great pick at that spot.

Unfortunately I just don’t think he will still be on the board in the 4th round.

fuller is also on a 1 year contract...

Chris Simms had him as his 3rd best receiver in the draft after Chase and Smith. Waddle 4th and Toney 5th.

Not that I rate Simms particularly highly as an evaluator, but just to show that he's getting some recognition.

If Miami were to draft Pitts at 1A and Brown with 2B, I'd think that'll go a loooong way in settling some of the offensive issues.

Every year there are guys people expect to go in the 4th round who go in the second or guys expected to go in the second who go in the fourth or fifth. Invariably it turns into a sales job on a pick. “We thought he’d go in the second and we were very pleased to get him at 131.”

Curtis Weaver at one point was mocked in the first and we snagged him in the fifth. Unfortunately he lasted about a day and a half before he was exiled to Cleveland.

I think there are guys like Eskridge and Surratt (LB) who might sneak up higher than people might realize. Those guys exhibit great dynamism on the field. And of course other players will slide. Think of some guys who are more sluggish and not so dynamic even if they were productive. They will drop.

For teams, one major issue is projecting where guys might get picked as you get deeper in the draft. The variance gets bigger and bigger. When Jimmy Graham was coming out, Miami thought they could get him a round later and whiffed.

He is being projected in the 3rd round so I don't think he qualifies as a sleeper.
