Field position, as we all know, is key if we are going to improve our dismal record. Luckily we kick it (in comparison to our divisional foes) in regards to returning the ball after every punt/kickoff. Now for the rest of the offense/defense executions...pure misery. We must keep on with the averages (return percentages):

Patriots (returns avg.)
  • kickoff 8.0
  • punts 10.0

Jets (returns avg.)
  • kickoff 20.0
  • punts 8.8

Bills (returns avg.)
  • kickoff 17.1
  • punts 7.3

Miami (returns avg.)
  • kickoff 22.5
  • punts 20.6

Work around the positives I say...thank you Jarvis!

On The Side: Why do I see Dan calling lots of plays for Jordan? (get it? TE coach? Cameron? Oh never mind...)
First Miller - establishing the run game - then we'll see Jordan Cameron catch-and-run to the Promise Land baby!!

Jarvis Landry has 643 all purpose yards (2nd) after 4 games and is on pace to reach 2572 yards for the season at the current rate. Devonta Freeman leads the league with 645 yards after 5 games. Darren Sproles hold the record with 2696 yards in 2011. At the current rate Landry would put up the 4th best all purpose season of all time.

Definitely a bright spot.

I didn't know these stats either, but I'm not sure what else can be said about Landry other than can he transfer some of whatever he has to the other 52 :hump:
