I would not let #26 go. This is the best RB we've had since Ricky Williams . Our offensive line and Lazor have not helped his season in any way shape or form. . This kid has improved every year since we got him. I remember going to the Raiders game his rookie year , I believe it was the Raiders. Watching him walk into the endzone like it was nothing . Not to mention the electrifying moves he displayed at UM. He did everything to get his body right for the NFL, putting on muscle while not losing breakaway speed , he picks up the blitz much better and his hands that he had in UM was back. This guy should be a MIAMI LIFER, he is the best part of this season. I would give the kid the money , he is our MVP, hands down. Most underutilized talent in the NFL, most experts will tell you that . I know Campbell and Taylor believe in him and I know whoever coaches next year , say Hue Jackson, will love to have him in his offense. He is a blend of Giovanni Bernard and Jeremy Hill. Sign him to an extension Tannebaum before someone else signs this great talent and beats us with him . The only thing that keeps me watching Dolphins football is Parker's maturation and Lamar joining the Great Larry Csonka and Ricky Williams as the only Fins RB with back to back 1000 yard games and I hope he can get about 200 yards against the Chargers so I can see him do it at home vs the Colts!!!

I for one will be pretty displeased if we re sign him.

For me it's as simple as not letting talent go. This team needs to keep as much talented players on the rosters as possible. This goes for R.Matthews as well!

So what is your assessment of Jarvis Landry?

Go ahead and speak freely. Your response will determine how seriously I take your posts in the future.

This team has to concentrate on retaining playmakers. There's a select few guys on this team who fight for every inch. Those are the guys I think this team should want.

OK, let's be realistic . The kid averages 5 yards a carry . Meaning in 2 carries he moves the chains . Not too many RBs can say the same . He is on the rise and I believe he will only get better. I have heard a dozen people around football who have bragged about Lamar Miller , we are not fans just making this up. He is is pretty darn good at what he does. He will quietly have a season in double digits in TD's, over 5 yards a carry , the best average in yards after contact , his best recieving year and he got his body in the very best condition ever . You can not argue with that!

One of the few good players they have drafted recently and they will probably let him go. A real front offense would get him resigned and a real coaching staff would make him and Ajayi the one two punch in their offense.

This post is a joke. Averaged no less than 4 ypc his entire career. 8tds last year 7 and counting this year. I already proved my point in the other thread. No need to do it again. Go ahead and Keep waiting for the second coming of Ricky. Don't hold your breath though

Every year, Lamar Miller is our #1 RB in yds per carry. Every year, even when we had Reggie Bush.

2012:

- Lamar Miller: 4.9 ypc

- Reggie Bush: 4.3 ypc

- Daniel Thomas: 3.6 ypc

2013:

- Lamar Miller: 4.0 ypc

- Daniel Thomas: 3.7 ypc

- Mike Gillislee: 3.5 ypc

2014:

- Lamar Miller: 5.1 ypc

- Knowshon Moreno: 4.8 ypc

- Daniel Thomas: 3.8 ypc

- Damien Williams: 3.4 ypc

2015:

- Lamar Miller: 5.1 ypc

- Jay Ajayi: 5.0 ypc

- Jonas Gray: 3.9 ypc

- Damien Williams: 3.9 ypc

I guess we should just jettison every young player once their rookie deals are up and just keep drafting their replacements. Then we can hope we hit on a DeMarco Murray and not a Daniel Thomas.
Yep, that's a formula for sustainable success.

I think Lamar and Jay could be very good together going forward. They can compliment each other, and also save on there wear and tear. We have enough holes at OLine, Dline, linebacker, fullback, and the secondary to go ahead and make more holes.

Dallas Cowboys will be hot after Lamar Miller if he hits FA. Just watch...

agreed!

Front office would be idiots to let him get away. He is a top tier running back with even a decent offensive line and a good O.C.

Miller and Ajayi have a bright future ahead as a 1-2 punch. This would also help Tannehill. They should restructure Tannehills contract if they have to in order to keep Miller here.

Its a common sense move to keep him, and yet I am not going to be the least bit surprised if they allow him to hit free agency.

You pay the man his money and keep him home. You'd be a lunatic to let a back like him go.

Top 20 2016 Unrestricted free agents

15. Matt Forte, Bears running back: One of the league's most complete backs has not shown many signs of age yet. Perhaps he should be paired with another quality option, but there's no doubt he could upgrade many backfields.

16. Andre Smith, Cincinnati Bengals right tackle: How will Smith react to getting paid big bucks (again)? While his career has included some ups and downs, Smith has often been a top-shelf starter.

17. Danny Trevathan, Broncos linebacker: Trevathan is a three-down linebacker entering his prime that can hold up in pass coverage. We're big fans of his skill set and he's just the type of above-average starter that gets paid like a superstar in free agency.

18. Janoris Jenkins, St. Louis Rams cornerback: He's steadily improved each season in the league and now is a playmaking starter.

19. Brock Osweiler, Broncos quarterback: It's hard to imagine John Elway letting his promising young starter hit the market, although this will be a tricky contract to pull off.

20. Derrick Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs linebacker: Yes, he's 33 years old. But watch him play this year! He would be a great short-term pickup for a team that needs instant leadership.

Just missed: Chris Ivory, Kelvin Beachum, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Haloti Ngata, Lamar Miller, Prince Amukamara, Anquan Boldin.

Key thing to remember with Lamar: Joe Philbin and Bill Lazor didn't believe in running the ball. There's not a lot of mileage on those feet.
