This dude absolutely needs to be fired.

But right now, we need to keep him. Trust me on this. It's the absolute best thing for this franchise's future.

The players have quit on him. They lost respect for him after Ross went on a coaching search and Sparano just sat with his mouth shut about it. Sparano can't coach. The offensive line is a wreck (and I think Jake Long is injured more than we know) and that's supposed to be his specialty.

But the absolute best thing for Ross to do is to keep Sparano, let him finish wrecking the season, and then we fire him and clean house while sitting on a top draft pick. The league has changed, fellas. It's not what it used to be where you could win with average quarterbacks and a solid, well-balanced team. You need deep threats and superstar big-armed quarterbacks that can get the football to those deep threats.

If we fire Sparano today, this team will rally around an interim head coach, finish 7-9 again, and we're in the same sinking boat only with a new guy who can shovel water out of the boat with a bucket a little faster.

Last season the Cowboys were terrible early and I said from the day they hired Wade Phillips that he needed to go. The Cowboys fired that marshmallow with a head-set in mid-season and the 'Boys rallied around Jason Garrett and showed out. The only difference between the Cowboys and Dolphins is that they're better at the QB spot even though I can't see Tony Romo ever winning a Super Bowl but that's another debate for me to win another day.

We all just need to suck it up and keep Sparano. Keep suffering thru these losses and believe me, I'm suffering. Between the Hurricanes and Dolphins I don't even look forward to the weekend anymore. Wouldn't bother me if I had to work seven days a week at this point. But if you guys want change and you want to win like I do, you have to really look at yourself and understand that in order to get this thing turned around, we're just going to have to suffer another season like 2007.

Honestly, how many of you thought about the 2007 season the year after when we won the division and went to the playoffs? It was a total afterthought. 1-15 didn't matter anymore. And I promise you all, if we lose enough games to draft a franchise QB that pans out, none of you will think about 2011 when we're winning big in 2014 or 2015.

Think of it as the old saying goes, "You gotta spend money to make money." And we're just gonna have to lose some games to win some games.

I agree. I will stop watching the Dolphins this year and watch the Bills, then next year when they clean house I will start watching again.

If the Bills are legit, we could be in the toughest division this year.

Completely agreed. We are not beating the Jets, Chargers, Pats, heck even the Bills might sweep us this year. The NFC East will sweep us. We have a shot against the Broncos and Chiefs, and that's where Tony needs to work his magic.

The worst thing that could happen to our team is firing Sparano. We're right on track. This will give him time to pack for when the season ends. It's tough medicine right now, but this year is lost. Let's not have half measures. If we're going to suck then let's have some purpose behind it.

100% agreed.

just draft a qb in every round until u hit. and get the coach with the highest IQ possible its about out smarting not out motivating

We're only in contention with the Colts, Chiefs and Seahawks the why I see this.

The Bengals have seen enough of Andy Dalton to be believers and they have AJ Green.

The Vikings have invested in Christian Ponder.

The Colts are the team that really worries me because they understand more than anyone in the league the importance of a superstar QB and they're smart enough to really "Suck for Luck." Gotta root hard for those Colts tonight. I think it's a no-brainer we start out 0-4. Chargers look like trash today but you can guarantee that doesn't happen two weeks in a row.

I'm not willing to say we start out 0-5 because this team always plays a different brand of football against the Jets and Patriots. Obviously, I'm not going to be surprised in the least if we lose to the Jets, but I wouldn't be surprised if we beat them either.

tooesni were

Last week I would have told you that there's no way Miami is as bad as the Colts or Chiefs. I'm not sure about that anymore. I think we are right in the thick of this thing.

Keep him

I agree firing him now or in few weeks solves nothing. Let him keep running the team into the ground. Right now if the season ended we would have the No.1 Pick in the Draft :hump:

I love you Andy Luck :hclap:

I'm not to worried about the Colts. They are so married to Manning that they won't do anything to upset him. Its possible they might look towards the future, but i just dont see it. They would probably use that top 5 pick to grab a player they felt could push them over the edge with Manning and try for a few more Superbowls.

Seahawks are currently beating Arizona, root on fellas and hope Scott Pioli hires Josh McDaniels in Kansas City.

Manning doesn't know if he will ever play again. He also knows that he is not going to be benched for a rookie. Do you think he is worried about Luck? And honestly, do you think Bill Polian cares???

The Colts will take him if they have the #1 pick, bet on it.

Best, most sensible post I've read on here in a long time. I agree Jcane, and I was thinking the same thing this afternoon.

No doubt about it man.

Can we all at least throw money down to buy a time machine so we can be in 2012 already? I can't take waiting until next April to know if the team is going to be mediocre again
