Keepers

Soliai is also worth keeping but I don't know if the next regime does.

His importance would probably depend on the type of the defense that would be implemented. In a 4-3 I'm not sure he would be worth the kind of coin he will command as a 3-4 NT. He'd probably get offers that cause him not to resign at 4-3 money.....

Offense:
Henne (as a backup)
Thomas
Bush
Bess
Marshall
Fasano (as a second TE)
Hartline
Long
Pouncey
Gates

I think we have a good nucleus and with the right coaching and more importantly, the right vision from a FO, Miami could get good quickly. The key is finding the playmakers through the draft (ie a QB)

Defense:
Langford
Starks
Wake
Dansby
Davis
Smith

Special Teams:
Fields
Carpentar

As been mentioned 1000 times on this list that good coaching can make a lot of the guys we have look better,

BTW Long gets to much love, his performance right now is no where near what he contract value is and he in reality would be one of the more logical guys to let go considering he has some value.

I'm in the faction having a strong suspicion that Jake is a trooper and again silently playing hurt. As such he's still superior to 80-90% of the LTs active today. If the season goes down the drain, he needs to be pulled out and given an extended rest period to recuperate for next year. You don't easily replace LTs like JL, so IMO he's more of a keeper than anyone else on the roster.

Thomas, bush, Marshall, bess, harline, gates, fasano, long, pouncey, Carey, lankford, Starks, dansby, Davis, jones, fields.

How is Sean Smith not on these lists? The guy is better than Vontae

And dont forget Brandon Fields, he should be getting some MVP votes with the way he's punting this year lol

Reshad Jones sucks, the guy can provide over the top help if his life depended on it.
Smith is to inconsistent and I am pretty cmertain JT was talking about him not taking this seriously He has had maturity issues before, heloses focus and spends more time on Twitter then working on his game. His own admission on that ridiculous TD he gave up on Massaquoi was that he took his eyes off the ball as it was coming in.

Langford and Starks both had really good games, as did Wake, against the Browns.

And what did Wake really do well versus Browns just curious
He pressured Colt McCoy all game long and hit him 4 times; he also set the edge well, and (according to PFF) was the best LB in the league last week.

Shows me PFF is just as flawed as usual. So he makes not one tackle but was the highest rated LB last week, pretty suspect. people can say some things do not show up in a statline but a linebacker should accidently make one tackle.

Great straw-man argument from you, but what else is new? Attack credibility with baseless claims. Go you. He got pressure on the QB all game long, and did his job. Not much more I can ask of a player. I don't know about you.

pff is garbage though...i remember i think it having koa misi last year as a top 10 pass rusher at the midway point and sean smith only having been credited for 2 missed tackles...what a joke

haven't given it a lick of attention since...

How is this a straw man arguement, so its not his job to make a tackle or get to the qb before he throws the ball. What baseless claim did I make 0 tackles, 0 sacks. I only stated and I stand behind that he did not have the best game of any linebacker last week even if PFF syas so, if you want to believe this fine, you disagree but to say I have a baseless arguement is incorrect.

It's not all about stats. You have no clue what you're talking about!
