I posted during the game thread to watch Clabo and Jerry on the right side, as they have both been playing really well. They each gave up 0 sacks, 0 hits and a hurry. They came to play, and have been doing the same for some time.

Over the past 9 games Clabo has been what we traded for, and then some. He may have played the best RT in the NFL during that span in pass blocking giving up only 3 sack, 4 hits, and 12 hurries, and has been average in run blocking.

Jerry, over 11 games, has given up 2 sacks, 1 hit, and 8 hurries. He has been up and down on run blocking but, had his best game on Sunday.

On the left side, Garner and McKinnie are not NFL caliber starters, and Brenner needs a year.

I would like to keep Clabo and Jerry as starters on the right side.

Jerry maybe if he comes in for minimum and only for depth, but if not then bye. Hell no to Clabo..

Jerry has been an absolute slug in run blocking and are you really going to trust Clabo to NOT have another disastrous first half of the season like he has the last two years?

How about we move on and get some actual good players instead.

They suck. Maybe keep jello for the minimum to be a depth guy.

Not sure what you mean on Clabo last year? He had 2 bad games in the first 8, and none after that. It was very far from disastrous.

Clabo never got settled here. Not a good fit for us. Best to part ways now.

If we fire Turner I say Jerry is a complete lost cause. At least Turner got him to be semi decent.

I focus on the OL in re-watching games, and that is simply not true. IF you or anyone has games on tape, try to tell me where they "suck." You will not be able to, guarantee it.

I just don't understand why you would want to re-sign a guy who has not played well this year who is like 35 years old and is clearly deteriorating in play. I don't get that.

To be honest, I have a lot of respect for Tyson Clabo. I liked the signing in part because he had a strong rep for being an outstanding person off the field. He handled himself with admirable professionalism through this entire season. But it is time for the guy to hang up his cleats.

Clabo sure as hell got settled here in the last 9 games, when he has been great. Jerry is far from a lost cause but, has not proven to be able to run block consistently. Have you watched their play or, just going with the misconception that everyone on the OL sucks?

In a backup role....one or both would be good. But in run blocking (which is one of our largest needs), I think you have to look elsewhere for starters.

I watched a bit of the Patriots / Bills game yesterday and was impressed at how far down the field the Patriots O-lineman got on run blocking. Our guys don't typically leave the line of scrimmage. Also, we ran a lot to the right side in 2013.....it wasn't pretty.

I do agree however, that Clabo was very strong the 2nd half of the year.
