So for the better part of 2 years our defense has been horrid against the TE. This year obviously Gronk torched us in the first game, but also guys like Jared Cook and Oj Howard ripped us apart. The distrutbing fact is we haven’t really changed any thing to get a different result. The last week Clay took advantage of over matched Kiko. How do you think we approach this? Will Burke get creative or will be watching Kiko and Anthony getting blown up?

If we could do something, it would have happened already. That tells you everything you need to know.
Ps. Play Kelsey in your fantasy league

Apparently, relying on UDFAs to build your LB corps isn't an effective strategy. I'm as shocked as anybody.

Many on here focus on Kiko but while he is far from perfect he is easily our best lb

Pretty sure we've been getting smoked by TE's waaaay longer than 2yrs.

Kelce is going to torch us merely because we didn't draft him in 2013 with the several picks in the first 3 rounds that we could have drafted him with.

Every time he makes the highlight real, I think about that draft. It's like herpes (so I'm told)

The Chiefs are a bad matchup. Most teams are for the Dolphins, but the Chiefs kill people with screens, running backs out of the backfield and tight ends down the seam. They don't have a traditional big play wide receiver, but they put Tyreek Hill out there and just let him run by people. The Chiefs defense is weak against the run and their linebackers aren't much better than the Dolphins, so the only chance the Dolphins will have is running the ball and avoiding turnovers. They won't match big plays with the Chiefs. Early prediction: 38-17 Chiefs.

I was focusing on how long this staff has bee here.

How sad, but true. Our best LB had one sack, zero ints, zero fumbles recovered, and 1 pass defense. This is part on Kiko for being not impactful, but I also believe our coaching staff has not put our defenders in a place to be successful. We have seen in the past he can be much better than this.
