I know everyone here goes nuts when someone is released and someone starts a thread with WE SHOULD SIGN _______!!!


BUT- I happen to think that this one might have a foundation- our WR coach (and Asst Head Coach Offense) was the Vikings WR coach with Kelly (Charlie Baggett), and obviously there is the Linehan Minnesota connection. If these two coaches liked Kelly, IMO he will be a Fin, considering (even though many of us dont agree for some reason) we are looking for WR depth-- I mean, we did offer a contract to Peerless Price.

actually Kelly Campbell would make a better receiver than Gilmore. He would immediately become the fastest player on the team. He would probably fit quite well as the #4 receiver
 
Edit: He was WAIVED, meaning dont we have the 2nd priority?

And he could step right in because he is familiar with the Linehan system.
 
Im just saying, dont be surprised. Saban is worried about our WR depth and this guy played for our WR coach and O Coordinator.
 
wow, Kelly "not Randy Moss" Campbell or as my friend calls him, Kelly "Who's that number 16, why didn't they throw it to Randy Moss" Campbell was released.

Fast guy. Did a good job as Not Randy Moss. I like Gilmore as a punt flyer as he dominated during preseason. I would hate to see him go.
 
No thanks, from earlier this year........

Vikings wide receiver Kelly Campbell was arrested Thursday in Georgia on charges of possession of a stolen handgun and a half ounce of marijuana.
 
the vikings think that k robinson has more potental then this scrub,look at his stats they are already on the decline,i say we do good too stick with what we have.

Track speed doesn't necessarily make you a better receiver. Speed coming out of a break is much more improtant.
