NEWS OF THE DAY
Coach Tony Sparano gushed about defensive end Kendall Langford after Friday's morning practice, noting Langford has made the greatest improvement among Dolphins rookies. "I've been really impressed with Kendall the first week of practice," Sparano said, adding that Langford has become stronger at the point of attack, the result of gains in the weight room. He showed that during the afternoon practice as he charged in for a sack during red-zone drills.
"He's been making plays out there," linebacker Akin Ayodele said. "You're interested to see how he'll do once we get into pads. You watch every day and he's getting better."
