I have watched the Denver game a couple times now and he really stepped up and was stuffing the run in that game. I remember reading his bio when Miami drafted him and when he played the other teams running game virtually didn't exists. He blew up a lot of runs and pushed people into each other and just destroyed the Bronco running attach. You don't hear his name a whole lot but watch a tackle made around the line of scrimmage on a running play and #70 is getting off the ground. This guy is an absolute stub and will be a beast the more he learns the NFL game.

People think because Langford isnt getting sacks every game, hes a bust. This guy is a stud.

Langford makes me really wish we had taken Kenny Phillips instead of Merling. Not that I don't like Merling but Langford is alot better and I really wanted Phillips then....and more now.

I won't complain about having Merling on my team anyday.

I love this guy he reps CENTRAL VA. Anyways this guys it the next big 3-4 de in the NFL. He has stepped in day one and dominated NFL caliber o-lines. He will be good for a looooong time and he and Merling will be causing problems for the next 10 years.

I agree, just saw some threads on giving props to certain players and wanted to make sure Langford got some love because he's been playing very well and never gets his name called.

We couldn't take Kenny Phillips....he was already gone....one pick prior to the Merling selection...

I was clamoring for Brandon Flowers or Devin Thomas...although he's yet to do much....but I think he'll explode once he gets a little more coaching and experience.

If a 5-11, 178 pound raw, WR who ran in the high 4.3's, and who's foot was in a protective boot can go at #9....then surely a 6-2, 215 pound raw WR who ran in the 4.3's and was healthy is worth the #32 selection....

Yeah because the average fan doesnt understand the 3-4 defense. The linemen Langford, Ferg, Merling, Holliday, Starks GET NO LOVE and no accolades. The linebackers get the glory.

People just need to understand what goes on in a 3-4 and then they will relize how freaking BEAST this kid and Merling are.

its very exciting to see all these rookies playing well for the fins, when was the last time we got to talk about our draft class like this? Mind you henne hasn't played a down yet either.

like i've said before in earlier posts...i've had a good feeling about Kendall Langford from the moment i saw his name as one of our draft picks, and did some research on him...i think he's going to be a beast for us on the D-Line for years to come...

Langford was a prototypical 34 player, but the fact he has translated his game so quickly from Hampton University to the NFL is the real story. I've liked the kid since before the draft--although I thought we might have been able to grab him a round later--and I'm even more impressed with him than I expected to be.

The person who really has come out smelling like a rose is Ireland. Parcells really has picked a good group of people to run the Dolphins. Clearly Ireland has been the best GM we've had in ages. Sparano has our young OL developing nicely. The defense is starting to look like a typical Parcells defense. Our team really has progressed quickly, and nobody typifies this better than Langford.
