Wasnt it this kid who was having a great pre-season until he was injured? I can't remember if for 1, it was him and for 2 it was last year.. or the year before..

IM pretty sure it was him and he was having a real nice pre-season. Any word about him?

yes that was him and yes it was last season. I think he must have been a bit overhyped though because from memory he either didn't make the roster or he was cut and later re-signed. He's definitely with the team now though.

EDIT: sorry i didn't see you mentioned the reason he didn't play was because he was injured. apologies

some peole here think that their better than everyone else and feel that they can talk to people anyway they want

He broke his leg I believe.
 
Every season someone puts some big numbers in the preseason. Some people start hyping the guy up. Almost every year, the player flops. So, I usually wait to see some regular season games before getting excited about a player.
 
He indeed tore that Achilles.

It's unfortunate because he's a long, lanky guy who was starting to show some things. In my book, he had a real shot at the 3rd WR position.

I think that was Y. Bell, which is how A. Freeman got to start..Bell was giving him all he could handle and I think would have been the starting FS on opening day if not for the injury, which is what I'm hoping not happen this PS..I'm hoping we get all our guys to the start of the season healthy, even thought it's tough to do.

Alphonso Roundtree had a gruesome break of his leg/ankle last preseason. He even wrote about the experience for us last year.

AR was another guy who had a great shot IMO. I think he had just about sewn up the 5th CB spot.
 
Newsome makes some fgreat catches but a little inconsistient. I wanted to see him do better before he got hurt last year. I dont think he will beat out Gilmore. I watched Gilmore out here with the Cardinals and he has a lot of potential.
 
He was impressing in last seasons preaseason and he looked like he was challenging for the third WR spot ahead of Thompson before he was injured.I hope he comes back from that injury without loss of speed.
