I loved this kid in the draft and he's looking really solid in his pro debut. He's a player for sure...

He and Nicks are both going to do well.

It seems like the big-bodied receiver is just something we won't hit on. Missed with Wilford and so far, Turner is taking some time to catch up to NFL speed (or something). Meanwhile, everyone else's big rookie receivers look good...Britt had a nice game, Nicks is looking like a killer, and even that Wallace guy for Pittsburgh made a huge play in the end.

i'll bet ten dollars that vontae would shut him down one on one.

steelers cb's arent the best

we solidified our secondary for at least like 6 years probably a decade with vontae and smith

better wr's come out this years draft if we really want one and this will probably be a make or break year for ginn

We'll no offense to any of you, but I think Hartline has the goods. He is only an inch smaller than Britt, he looked good during the preseason. One thing I like about Hartline was his potential to stretch the field and he is not small by any means.

Britt look real good today, not knocking him. But I also think Hartline is gonna be real good too.

Yeah i mean he looked good but how many of his plays were when #43 werent in. He may be a stud one day and he had a good game tonight but saying that our guys havent panned out yet is a bit of a stretch.

Hartline will be good and who knows Hartline or Turner might go for 100+ we dont know till they play the game

i hope Hartline shines, he looked good in the preseason but he needs to carry that over to the regular season when it counts...

GUys to tell you the truth this talk is great, but I hope we win Sunday. I cannot wait for it to get here. I really hope we shut up all the doubters and beat the Falcons. I know our Defense has been improved and I think how we were able to play the Chargers last year and I truly hope we can play to par with the Falcons and beat them.

Our first round pick will be debated time and time again, as will our first second round pick. Their was alot of talent subsequently drafted after both picks. Each regime has its style, I just have a feeling with Ross at the helm, the run the ball and play defense style won't last long, as we all know that "entertainment value" in football resides with the big armed/franchise QB and the circus catch/freak receiver... Two things we don't have.
