Can't believe how bad Aikens sucks
 
He may only last a few games but' better then what we are rolling with, Walt is unimpressive
 
As thin as we are at safety I'd definitely see what he has left in the tank. He can have Kovacs roster spot for all I care.
 
Some of you really think one player will help turn the season around. I'm not sure if I should applaud your optimism or just accept you're all in denial.

Have you watched Walt Aikens play this year. He should basically be cut...hes awful at everything/

Have you seen our entire team play this year? There's not a single addition that will improve this offense or defense. Why spend the money when you can carry it over.
 
When coaches were singing Aikens' praises, what exactly had he done to make them so happy?
 
Phillips has a history of knee problems. This is the second time this year he's been cut by the Saints. I'm not sure what he has left in the tank.

Given where our season is right now, I would keep playing Aikens to see if he is salvagable in the least. Maybe we can also find a young developmental prosepct for a practice squad spot.
 
Aikens has been bad theres no doubt about it...run game pass game it doesnt matter...suspect in all phases

Great question. I have to say this is one of the strangest decisions I remember in 45+ seasons of following this team. There wasn't anyone more sensible than Walt Aikens? Normally even if I disagree with the decision, at least I can understand the rationale. Not this time. I remember posting after the second preseason game that Aikens was easily the biggest disappointment of the players we were depending on, that he looked deep, hesitant and errant. Then a day later I read praise from Philbin and the coaching staff.

Maybe they saved clips from Cameron Worrell and use that as a measuring stick.

I don't know how much Phillips has left.
