Kenny Stills or Stacy Coley?

What makes more sense re-signing Kenny Stills or using that money on a veteran linebacker and then drafting someone like the Canes' Stacey Coley in the mid rounds of the 2017 draft? I think both directions have merits. I also like North Carolina's Mack Hollins in the later rounds if he recovers from his shoulder injury.
 
I like Stills. Resign him and get Crosby and Nash in here. We already have a Young.

i think we're going to end up having to replace stills anyway because I don't see him taking a modest deal here, and paying him + landry is going to be tough....
 
We spent our 3rd and 4th round picks in this year's draft on a wide receiver already, dude. His name is Leonte Carroo.

Canes aren't my college team and based on your logic since Miami is winning we shouldn't add anyone in the draft? The question is can Coley give you what Stills gives you or more at a cheaper cost? And is the money that it will take to sign Stills more wisely spent on improving the defense. I like Stills and as I said in the original post both directions have merit.

I re-sign Stills if I can. He shouldn't break the bank for us. If we can't then I don't mind targeting Coley, as I think he brings a similar skill set with maybe a little better hands, but a tick less speed. But I also think Coley doesn't get drafted until relatively late. 5th or later.

The entire roster is not working so yes you will draft players.

Kenny stills however is working very nicely with this O and our qb. It has also been reported multiple times that Gase loves him.

If at all possible Stills should be brought back.

Miami traded their third round pick and the fourth round pick will be the one the team expects to be awarded as compensation for OV. Carroo is fine, but he doesn't stretch the defense like Coley or Stills.
 
I hate to say it, but I think we are going to lose Stills. We will need to bring in someone with speed to replace him, maybe Grant can step up and be the over the top guy. As stated before, Landry is going to get paid....hard to pay both. We have Alonzo we should resign as well. Unless Stills signs at a significant home team discount, he is gone IMHO.
 
I want Stills re-signed. I like the make up of our receiving corps. All bring something different and Ryan has developed chemistry with all of them! Need to keep this group together. More they play together; the better the passing game will be.
 
This has nothing to do with if we sign Stills or not, but I have a good feeling about Carroo!
 
Lol stills wont break the bank. Can't see him making more than rishards 3 yr/15 million. Of we cant sogn him then we have carroo and hopefully grant can catch by then.
