Kerry Rhodes benched

Smart move by the Jets. The guy got a paycheck and went Hollywood. Too afraid to mess up his manicure. He avoids contact and keeps missing assignments. He has been overrated for 2 years now.

Why? Go look on a Jets board. They've been calling for Rhodes to get benched for awhile now. He sucks. Add to that the fact he has a big contract and talks a lot of **** too. Personally I wish the Jets didn't bench him so he could continue to whiff on tackles and play bad coverage. As Vertical Limit said, he got his paycheck and has done nothing since.
 
He hasn't been as bad as jet fans make it seem(we always need a scapegoat) but he's wasting his talent right now. The final straw was going timid against little welker and getting run over. When you lost 6 of 7 changes need to be made.

First move Ryan has made that I really agree with. Like you said..Rhodes has not been as bad as he is being made out to..yet..he is not even close to as good as he and his mouth thinks he is. Ryan is starting to feel a little heat and he will pass it off to his players. Rhodes is finding talk and theatrics are cheap when you do not back it up on the field.
 
What really bothered me about Rhodes was a week ago. The team had lost 5 of 6 to that point and had a huge game coming up to try to save the season and he's busy campaigning for pro bowl votes on twitter.
 
I thought the jets organization was endorsing players using twitter....

I thought Rex's scheme was supposed to make Rhodes more of a ballhawking safety like Ed Reed....at least that's what Junc told me.....

at one poit he was a ballhawk like Ed Reed. I don't know what's happened to him.


I was told Matt Roth and Channing Crowder were future pro bowlers- what happened w/ that?
 
you heard them wrong...it's after we cut them and the pats pick them up they will be pro-bowlers....

Nobody thinks that all. I do not know where you get that idea. Our last 2 drafts in the BP regime have looked spectacular so far though.

Crowder is benched next year and Roth was waived. Thank God the Saban era is over.

Sorry but junc is right. I've been on FH long enough to know that people thought a player like Abraham Wright was the steal of the draft and was going to become a star. Travis Daniels was apparently going to be a big time cornerback for us, Drew Mormino was suppose to be this great guard for us. I can go on and on. Heck, the 07 draft people in this site was suggesting we draft more Samoans and that our team should do the haka pre-game. :lol: Only one Samoan left from that draft is on this team.
