Kery wood out for rest of season

The lizard sure knows how to ruin great young arms. Really Wood has great stuff but he'll never be the starter that all MLB fans visioned him as. To be honest he probably should be moved to closer. If I were a Cubs fan i'd be ecstatic when the lizard is canned just so he doesn't have the opportunity to ruin Zambrano. Prior/Wood had the potential to be a filthy combination and because of injuries and better management Santana/Liriano are the best 1-2 in MLB and will be for awhile.

Has there ever been an armed revolt in an American sports stadium before? The damage Dusty Baker has done to the Chicago Cubs franchise in his time there is bordering on incalculable. He's ruined Kerry Wood, maybe Mark Prior, too, he's systematically destroyed good prospects like Corey Patterson and buried others beneath Proven Veterans who have only proven that they can't hit a lick anymore.

Cubs fans are going to look back on this @$$hat like we look back on Dave Wannstedt...or since most Cubs fans are Bears fans too, the way THEY look back on Dave Wannstedt.

100% agreed. Dusty Baker is the most overrated manager in baseball team. He blew the Giants World Series title in 2002 and helped cost the Cubs a World Series appearance in 2003. And that's besides from the fact that he sent the Cubs franchise back 10 years with the probably career killing injuries to Wood and Prior, those two will never ever be the same.

Baker is an idiot. How so many of the idiot managers in baseball get retread is beyond me.
 
Buddy bell could probably do a better job managing the cubs:D
