Kevin Ellison

Ellison appears to be a more physical version of Yeremiah Bell. An in the box type of strong safety who is not that great in coveage.
 
i'm still stunned that taylor mays chose to return to USC. definately a top 15 pick.
 
Damn, these USC players can really put up some numbers in the weight room. What does Pete Carroll have these guys on?
 
Strong but slow as molassas. A 4.82 forty is not going to cut in the NFL.
 
In terms of being NFL ready, I actually was a little underwhelmed by Mays last year. If anyone stood out of that DB, it was Ellison.

I think he could be a semi-sleeper.
 
With his great strength and lack of speed, he may need to play LB in the NFL if he wants to play. He shouldn't have a problem adding bulk.
 
had safety taylor mays come out and been on the board at #25 do you think we'd have passed? lord i hope not.
