Heard this on ESPN no link Kevin Jones is released from the Lions.

Kevin Jones and Kalimba Edwards were released. Both have been sidelined by alot of injuries recently. Too bad for Kevin Jones, that guy is a bruiser and can run like the best of them. Too bad he couldnt stay healthy he would have had a great career.
As for edwards, he's still a pretty good DE if he can get himself healthy again. The lions have dumped alot of their "big name" players this year.

I remember him in 2004 the patriots were all set to take him at 32 and at 30 the cheifs traded and the lions got this guy. He was suppose to join corey and kevin in the back field.
looking back 2004 what a draft 21st vince wilfork man how did he slip so far and the at 32 watson TE a bit of a disappointment as he shows flashes of greatness and aligator arms in a span of few games.I think of the 7 draft picks 6 went on to become starters.
